Project Scope

Omex Agrifluids required a reliable storage and mixing solution for a 15% Boron solution, a nutrient essential for crop growth. This boron solution needs to be kept in suspension to maintain product consistency and prevent sedimentation. Camplas was chosen to supply batch mixing tanks along with the steelwork necessary to support heavy-duty mixers for this application.

Solution Provided

To meet Omex’s needs, Camplas supplied:

• Six 30m³ Batch Mixing Tanks: These tanks were designed specifically for the storage and mixing of a 15% Boron solution, offering the needed capacity and chemical compatibility.

• Steel Support Structures for Mixers: Each tank was fitted with a robust steel structure to support 400kg mixers (provided by a third party). These stirrers kept the boron solution in consistent suspension, and Camplas’s steelwork was engineered to securely hold the weight and withstand operational demands.

• Enhanced Suspension Capabilities: Although Camplas did not provide the mixers, the custom steelwork allowed for efficient and secure mounting, enabling the stirrers to function effectively to maintain even suspension within the tanks.
