Scrubber Towers

The packed scrubber towers excel in absorbing gases and vapors, providing superior odor control. Biofilters, on the other hand, biologically degrade volatile organic compounds, effectively filtering out odor-causing emissions. Fume scrubbers capture particulates and gases from industrial processes, and chemical scrubber systems neutralize harmful chemical emissions. Together, these technologies offered by Camplas Technology ensure a comprehensive solution for maintaining air quality and adhering to regulatory compliance.

Wet or dry scrubbers

Wet Scrubbers vs. Dry Scrubbers

What is the difference?

Wet Scrubbers:

Use a liquid (often water) to remove pollutants from exhaust gases.

The polluted gas stream is brought into contact with the scrubbing liquid. Pollutants are absorbed into or react with the liquid.

Effective for controlling both gases and particulate matter.

Require a treatment or disposal method for the used liquid, which can contain contaminants.

Dry Scrubbers:

Use a dry reagent or slurry that is injected into a pollutant gas stream.

The reagent reacts chemically with the pollutants, neutralizing them.

Primarily used for controlling gaseous emissions, especially acidic gases.

Generate a dry waste product that is easier to dispose of compared to the slurry or wastewater from wet scrubbers.

High strength helically wound composite construction

One piece construction with no joints or seams below the liquid level

Unaffected by U.V. degradation and very low temperatures
Tensile strength 20 times higher than Polyethylene
900mm diameter insulated tank

What are the benefits of a Scrubber Tower?

Air Pollution Control:

Efficiently removes pollutants from industrial exhaust streams, improving air quality.

Compliance with Regulations:

Helps facilities meet stringent environmental regulations by reducing emissions of harmful substances.

Versatility:

Can be designed to handle various industrial processes and pollutant types, including particles, gases, and vapors.

Economic Efficiency:

Reduces potential fines from non-compliance and can be cost-effective over time compared to other pollution control technologies.

Why use a fibreglass Scrubber Tower?

Corrosion Resistance:
Fiberglass is highly resistant to corrosion from chemicals and moisture, making it ideal for harsh industrial environments.

Lightweight:
Fiberglass equipment is generally lighter than metal equivalents, reducing structural support requirements and installation costs.

Durability:
Has a long lifespan due to its resistance to wear and tear from chemical and physical factors.

Cost-Effective:
Although the initial cost might be higher, the long-term maintenance and replacement costs can be lower.
