Double skin tanks with vacuum leak detection for hazardous materials in sensitive areas where the failure of a single skin tank might cause a serious pollution incident or risk to human life. Extensively used in Scandinavian countries where environmental protection is maintained at a very high level.
Insulated tanks use 50mm rigid polyurethane foam encased within filament wound GRP Skins to prevent heat losses and maintain the temperature of the contents at above freezing .
Bunded tanks are supplied with an outer tank which will contain 110% of the contents in the event of a leak and if sited outside can have an integral rainskirt or can be completely encased within the outer tank which provides total containment.
GRP Tanks with special linings can be supplied where the contents are particularly aggressive or at higher temperatures and pressures
Silos with 60 degree cone bases mounted on galvanized steel support legs for powders and free flowing granular materials up to a capacity of 150 cubic meters. Can be translucent, as wound, or colored to match buildings or surroundings for aesthetic purposes.
An alternative to 60 degree cone silos particularly for materials which are not free flowing or have a tendency to ‘bridge’ see Camplas ‘Sludge Settlement and Batch Mixing Tanks’ which have geodesic dished bases and are often used as a more suitable alternative to cone based silos.
Can be built to perform in hot or cold conditions.
